Water was not very favorable to anglers as it was not as clear compared to previous trips. Wind was harsh on my 5wt flyset. Lost a big strike which I till now cant get over with. A few misses later on added on icing to the cake. However ended the trip with 2 baby fishes which were not qualified because they have missed the minimum 10 inches mark.

Daiso $2 lure has proven to be more effective and outfish other expensive lures when the going gets tough. Fred and I have fun hooking up this fellows on ultralight tackles in our night operation.

Saw some dead fishes along the bank, was it the rain or due to pollution of chemicals? Dead fishes mostly were earth eaters and tilapia. It was quite a shocking scene to see that in one of the most best kept reservoirs. Nevertheless, I managed to hook up countless small Peacock basses. No signs of bigger ones despite wearing polarised sunglasses.
